An absolute beauty; engaging, engrossing and captivating, may I present to you 'The Three-Body Problem' ! This trilogy is one of the best hard Science Fictions that I have ever read, and let me just spare you from the review- It is a must-read and I 💯% recommend it.

This book is based on the three-body problem in classical mechanics and physics, which involves predicting the motion of 3 objects in free space:

Written by the talented Cixen Liu, this book vividly immerses you into its amazingly described world. The plot is situated in olden China in the late twentieth century, where the country undergoes and the minorities suffer from a cultural revolution. Our beloved protagonist suffers this tragic fate and is thrown behind sorrow bars. However, there she is recruited for a secret government program, for she is a learned physicist. 

Here starts the interesting part! It goes on revolving around a threat from other galactic beings, and the society- divided into factions- want to deal with it differently. Few aim for the complete annihilation of our hazardous civilisation, whereas few want to solve to Three-body problem, which plagues the alien's planetary system which has three unstable stars. Well, this was just an appetiser, few pages in and the series will have you hooked!

Moreover, the elucidation of scenes is very unique. Each new chapter describes the story in flash-forwards, flashbacks, and in the present time. It sure does captivate the readers! The characters, too, are really well developed and undergo an interesting journey and the arc is evident. Cover pages are also appealing!

This is the first instalment in this enthralling fiction, and I cannot stress this enough, this is a MUST-READ!
